In Zwischen Blüte und Verfall, Carmen Celeste Moreira explores transience, memory and the emotional significance of everyday objects. Using wool, monk’s cloth and a reduced, almost childlike visual language, she transforms familiar forms – a monobloc chair, an egg, a small house – into textile works and sculptural objects that explore the relationship between presence and absence, fragility and permanence.

Through colour, texture and material, the works evoke personal and collective associations without defining them explicitly. Everyday objects become carriers of meaning, opening up a space between familiarity and abstraction, comfort and vulnerability.

The project examines how intangible experiences can take on material form and how memories continue to resonate through the objects and traces left behind.
